Book Sizes
Have specific size requirements for your project that you would like to discuss? We can guide and advise you on what would be best for your project, at the most cost effective rates. Paper Types
We stock a variety of paperweights in silk, gloss and offset paper. If you have a specific paper stock that you would like to use for your project, please just give us a call or email and we will endeavour to fulfil your requirement.
Artwork Submission
The preferred format for receiving artwork files is in PDF format. You can send your files to us via email or upload via our online system, Insite. If you possess Microsoft Word files that require design, we can provide you with a quotation for a revamped look and feel.
Proofing
All our quotations contain a price for one set of Xerox (hardcopy) proofs, which will be sent out to you within 48 hours of receiving the artwork. If you have any further changes to make, we will send you out a PDF (soft) proof which you can also approve on our online system, Insite.
Delivery and turnaround times
Prior to placing your order with the Book Printing department at W & G Baird, we will work out an agreed printing schedule with you, including artwork submission date, approval date and delivery date. All our quotations allow for delivery, in bulk, to one UK address.
Payment Options
We operate a number popular payment plans and accept all credit and debit cards. In addition we can also take payment by Pay Pal, Bank transfer and by Cheque.
Samples
When deciding the type of binding and paper type for your project, it can often be helpful to view previously printed samples of our work. If you would like to see sample copies, please call 028 9448 3911 and we will send you out a sample which is similar to your requirements.
ISBN’s and barcodes
If you are planning on selling your book through bookshops or online retailers, an ISBN is required. We are unable to issue ISBN’s, but you can obtain yours by contacting the ISBN agency who can be contacted by any of the following methods:

Once you have purchased your ISBN number, you may like to have a barcode added to the back cover of your book. We can create your barcode for you and either email it for you to add to the cover design, or we can add the barcode to your cover design instead.
